👏🏻 🍾 🍫

For the seventh time, Gault&Millau presents its selection of the best chocolatiers in its annual guide to chocolatiers. Our chocolate factory Concept Chocolate is proudly one of these new members for this seventh edition of the 2023 chocolate guide.

The particularity of this chocolate factory created by Maxime Pliester lies in the production of personalized chocolate and in its orientation towards tourism. The boutique workshop has also been set up with this in mind, with groups coming regularly to visit the premises to discover the different aspects of chocolate production: the ingredients, the origin, the cultivation of cocoa, the range of products, etc. . Participants can even work in the studio to show off their artistic skills and creativity.
Alongside the creation of personalized products, the chocolate maker and his team offer a wide range of products including excellent grand cru chocolate bars, various pralines in which you pin your salted butter and chestnut caramel puck or your peanut praline bite. . The production of homemade ice cream can be enjoyed in the Jalou tea room next to the workshop.

About the Gault&Millau Chocolatier Guide 2023:

This year, no less than 123 chocolatiers from Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg have been selected. These chocolatiers represent more than 173 store addresses. As always, the selection was made on the basis of several anonymous and objective tastings. The Gault&Millau team proceeded in the same way as for the restaurant guide: completely independently, without commercial or other interests. The tastings were carried out on the basis of the visual and taste characteristics of each item sampled.
The Guide des Chocolatiers 2023 has 108 pages and costs 14,95 euros on shop.gaultmillau.be (Free Shipping). The complete selection is online at www.gaultmillau.be and www.chocolatierpatissier.be
